On March 15th 2021, Silverlight Secondary Students visited the Department of Biochemisty Laboratories in Chiromo Campus. They interacted with Professors and Lecturers in the department and were introduced to different fields of Biochemistry. Of interest is the cutting edge technology known as CRISPR-Cas9 which has revolutionised the management of genetic diseases.

Prof. Walter Jaoko, Director KAVI-Institute of Clinical Research was one of the ten individuals who were honoured at the Ten out of Ten (1O/10) Awards held at the House of Lords in the Palace of Westminster, London on 9th September, 2019.
